A Blown Out Tire

Posted in Uncategorized by aulecteur on August 1, 2011

What can you do?

Today was going to be a sweet downhill ride all the way home to Ottawa. On Saturday, we worked our butts off to get from Ottawa to McGowan Lake Campground. It was 120km of gradual incline. The last 25km was through the hills parallel the Trans-Canada highway. It was one soul crushing hill after the other. I knew that if I made it to the campground my sweet reward would be the awesome downhill ride home today.

Less than an hour into the ride, just outside of Perth, in front of a seniors home, my back tire blew. I have a spare tube but the tire suffered irreparable damage.
